TC had a quiet weekend planned. His only racing would be in the #13 SK Modified on Friday night at Stafford. He lined tenth to begin the 5th Annual CARQUEST SK 150 in what would prove to be a battle of futility.
Teddy drove his way to the front on three different occasions, but each time misfortune would strike and put him to the rear. On the third try he was caught up in a wreck that sidelined him for the rest of the night. In the final rundown TC was scored in the 23rd position. Meanwhile Woody Pitkat took advantage of a fast racecar and race scoring to come from two laps down to win. A three-way battle for the 2008 Stafford SK Modified track championship is shaping up between point leader Keith Rocco, Teddy and Pitkat.
This Friday TC will race the #13 SK Modified in the night’s 40-lap feature. On Saturday he heads to Long Island to drive the Eddie Whelan #36 Modified in a NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour 150-lapper at famed Riverhead Raceway.
